This page will be dedicated the investigation of the New Mexico Revolt of 1837 known as the Canton, it is also known as the Chimayo Rebellion or the Rio Arriba Revolt.
I have spent a considerable amount of time studying this revolt and in the following chapters I will discuss the dynamics of the revolt and what can still be learned today from this event.
